Bancroft – Five-Storey Mixed-Use Development
Bonwest Limited led the complete construction of a five-storey mixed-use building in Bancroft, Ontario. The development includes a total of 40 residential units, with 10 units per floor and two fully accessible, barrier-free units integrated into each level to meet AODA standards. The building is designed to serve both residential and community needs, with the Public Library occupying the entire first floor.
To support accessibility and convenience for all residents, the building includes a fully integrated elevator system and laundry facilities. The structure was built using insulated concrete form (ICF) exterior walls and precast concrete slab floors, delivering enhanced energy efficiency, soundproofing, and long-term structural performance.
Bonwest provided full construction management services, overseeing every phase from site prep to handover, with a focus on code compliance, accessibility, and quality control.
